In nursing school and during my early days on my nursing unit, I was always intrigued by the tech side of healthcare. I’d just started my career, yet I already found myself wondering, what else is out there?
Anytime there was an Electronic Health Record (EHR) upgrade, or a new “go-live” for a process or workflow in Epic, I was the one asking questions; not just about the change itself, but about how the systems worked and who was behind them. I gravitated toward the people supporting the rollout, curious about their roles and how they contributed.
